We are offering an unforgettable cultural experience that will change your life!

Land in Accra, experience the beach community Kokrobite that contains a vibrant and arts scene. Then its off to the Volta Region staying at accomodation with beach access in the heartland of Ewe culture. Visit Wli Falls, Kakum National Park and other amazing landmarks before returning to Accra to participate in the the Mala Majo Festival!

Guided and led by renowned artists Fred Nii Addo, Robert Koffie Fugah (Kadado Music) and Agbeko DeSouza, supported by drummers and dancers from Kadodo Music GH, you will learn from the world’s best practitioners and have the chance to immerse yourself in the culture, cuisine and scenery of Ghana.

VISAS

All students and participants are required to obtain a visa from the nearest Ghanaian Representation (Embassy, Consulate or High Commission) in their country. We provide “letter of invitation” to include when applying for your visa.

All students and tour participants are responsible for booking and paying for their own airfare. Air fares range from 1200-2500 USD, depending on where you depart and who you book with.

Students can take private lessons in drumming, dance, and many other traditional instruments like kora and flute at their own expense. Private lessons are ~$30AUD per hour.

ACCOMODATION & FOOD

You will be hosted in comfortable serviced private rooms, with Western style ensuites, in both Accra and the Volta.

You will always have a private space to unwind and rest. You may also get a double room for you and a travel companion (partner/child/friend) whom you wish to share the experience with.

At the second lodging you will have convenient beach access and access and access to walks and famous sightseeing spots like Wli Falls, Tafi Atome Monkey Sanctuary and Kakum National Park.

We’ll be there to pick you up!

Once you have cleared customs, make your way to the outside area at arrivals. A member of our team will be waiting with a sign with your name referencing the Ghanaian Cultural Immersion Tour.

It is a must to obtain all of the recommended vaccinations before the trip.

We recommend applying for a tourist VISA which is valid for 90 days from the issue date. We’ll provide an invitation letter and a contact reference to include in your application.

Ghana stands out as a popular tourist destination in Africa with it’s rich and glorious history, art and natural scenic beauty. You can visit Ghana’s coastal forts and castles, poignant reminders of a page of history that defined our modern world. You can also visit markets to see expert craftspeople at work!

Our tour guide can arrange amazing sightseeing adventures taking you to some of the most amazing places in the region safely and comfortably.

If you have anywhere you especially wish to visit, let us know when you make your booking or let the tour guide know while you are in Ghana and we will do our best to make it happen!

Although the general responsibility of your valuable items falls to you, you can be assured that the accomodation is safe with on-site security and locking rooms.

Sure, the more the merrier! We can accomodate people who do not wish to participate in the tuition program and we will do our best to make the experience just as magical.
